This blog

      I won’t say that I have started this blog out of interest. I have started this one out of frustration. When I thought I am not doing any kind of meaningful things. I think this is the medium where I can express my thoughts, meet new people, how the others were thinking on some issues and there is a selfish reason too… to make myself knowledgeable.

Why I named this blog as ‘Straight Drive’:

        For more than 1 ½ months I have thought for a name for my blog. But I couldn’t come up with anything. Then I thought why I shouldn’t name it in some cricketing terms which I like much. After thinking the terms like bouncer, wicket, stumps, cover drive and straight drive I have chosen Straight Drive as it is one of the shots very difficult to play in Cricket and I always seen my wicket disturbed while playing that shot. So I wanted to write the things straight from my heart, frankly and without being holed out.

What you can expect here:

        Surely the posts and if they are on current affairs I like to present it with information from various sources and my own thoughts on that. And if it is on some of my experiences I like to make it enjoyable with some conversations happened, explaining about the places I visited and what I learned from it. If it is on reviews you can make sure it is unbiased. I will review them on their merit. If it is some cricket posts means there maybe some bias towards our country but I am sure I will give the best. If it is stories, sorry friends, you have to tolerate it. The stories will be on some silly things coming out of my sickening mind that will not entertain you at times. Those are the things I have written until now. I always like to try something different and due to that I may write something irrelevant.

        After wasting some 10 to 15 minutes in reading my posts you are always welcome to criticize, even severely, my thoughts which I have penned typed down. I will be really happy if you point out my mistakes and I will take some steps to rectify them. And I am open to your suggestions on improvement. One thing I like to mention is refraining from criticizing individuals and using unparliamentarily words while commenting.
