Few more offers…

October 7, 2008

Today my take in this fun section is on Reservation:

Citizen of India: With our govt. provided the reservation for SC,ST and OBCs in the colleges now they may set the standards to clear the exams. I think our ministers may come up with below standards and explanation as follows in coming days:

‘If  50 marks has to be obtained to clear a exam, then a OBC canditate has to score 30 marks, a SC canditate must score 10 marks to clear the exam. As far as ST canditate is concerned if he/she attends the exam, then they will clear the exam. We think that, the present system was unfair and we can’t have same scale of evaluation for all of them as the cut-off for OBC, SC and ST canditates differs. So we will take up this issue and fight for the right of the backward class people’.

On a serious note….It might not be a surprise if they really pass that bill!! Don’t know if I have to show pity on their ignorance or rebel !!

That speaks more on our attitude that the degree certificate (For eg.) is more important than the education in itself. Actually the reserved category of students should be more worried about all this. Someone wants to swim and he goes through a training as he is got a competition at the end of the training. If he is more interested in securing the certificate that he is good swimmer, and doesn’t concentrate on the swimming lessons, just imagine what will happen in the competition!

That’s true…. but in govt. offices that’s not the case. Only the one holds certificate moves up and not the one who swims good.
