As I Pass by – 08/09/10

I fear cards:

Every unknown number call I attend, I fear. Every mail from a long lost friend, I fear. Any call from a person who I thought not going to call me, I fear. Its been raining wedding cards in physical, mail and call form. And planning to attend them itself, is a task. Once planned next task is about checking who are all coming there.  The next thing is, thinking, zeroing in and buying a gift. Phew!!!

Even though it’s a tedious process for me, I don’t want to skip any marriage. I like to attend them as it gives a chance to meet many of my friends and a lot of travel. Within the span of 20 days, I have to attend 5 marriages but I missed one 😦 He is good friend of mine during the training but I couldn’t go there. One good thing about this 5 marriages are they are of people I met at different phases (School, College, Training, working and Blogging) of my life. Absolutely cool 😀 😀

Meeting school friends:

First marriage is of my school friend’s brother. I am happy that my friend called me as I am a kind of studious guy during school days atleast till my Xth standard. I used to sit in the first bench!!! (Height is also a problem 🙂 ) and I thought the only thing I can do in school is studying and then playing. I had no fun or some meaningful conversations with my friends there. Many of my friends recognized me and poor me, didn’t recognized few who studied with me till Xth. They have changed in physical appearance so much and I meeting them after 9 years didn’t helped much 😀

Hell of a trip:

Then it’s a marriage of my classmate in college. More than the marriage it’s the trip we made in bike made it memorable. It’s a trip from Chennai Adyar to Kanchipuram by evening. One could feel how worst the traffic and roads in Chennai when we ride during peak hours. Then from Tambaram we took the mudichur road to reach there. Even though the road is good for most part, the ride is really difficult in the remaining patches and at times half the road was not to be seen on one side. At some places the depth of the roads made me to think that somebody purposely digging them. We jumped in and bounced up in one of that kind. And the lack of light didn’t help us. After 2 hours of travel we reached the marriage hall just to meet 3 of our friends, handover the gift and had dinner. Once again our travel started but this time via national highway. The road is too good but still we are so tired. I am just a pillion rider in that 🙄 I myself hit the bed once I reached my home. Its one hell of a ride which I am not gonna forget, if not for lifetime, for quite some time 🙂

It happened!!!

You guys didn’t see its coming and me too. Never thought I will do that in my life. But alas it’s done by me.. I hit the gym and going there for 2 weeks now. Hoping that I will continue to go there for atleast 6 months 🙂

Monster’s Inc:

I am just fell in love with this movie and its characters. Another gem from Pixar guys. Only they can make the monsters to look cute. I don’t want to say much but don’t miss watching this movie guys. At least the first 12 minute part. I loved that sequence so much that each time I log into my PC I see that. Best comic sequence. My favorite character Mike Wachowski or Googly bear or Googly is so cute. He is one-eyed and all his expressions are just cool and funny.

Ayyanar:

I have heard the songs of this movie more than the songs of Endhiran 🙄 To say the least Thaman rocks. He has came up with a gem of an album which has something for everyone. My favorites are Athadi athadi and Paniye.
